Article I. Name Of Organization
A. Falcon Poetry Club
B. Purpose for Club
A. Healing Minds
B. Expressing feelings in a creative mindset
C. Ministering to your peers and other people
D. Dealing with issues and spirituality
E. Inspiration
F. Connection with people
G. Ability to enlighten people
Article II. Membership
A. To Whom Membership is Open
A. The membership is open to anyone who is positive and who wishes to commit to the club
B. Anyone is welcome to partake in the workshops to improve writing, you must be dedicated to become a member.
B. Requirements for Memberships
A. You must have at least a 2.0 GPA
B. You must attend at least two meetings per month
C. No insulting anyone about their poetry, pictures, songs, etc.
D. Must be committed to the responsibilities that is assigned to you
C. Impeachment
A. Those who are not committed to this club will not be members
B. Officers must lead by example
C. If you neglect meetings and/or do not inform anyone about your attendance, we will let you go
D. Officers and members will decide who will be impeached
D. Paying Dues
A. Will pay five dollar dues monthly

A. President- Chenae Hammond
B. Vice President- Grace Broughton
C. Secretary- Justin J. Perry
D. Treasurer- Marcel Harley
B. Qualifications
A. Must have a 2.0 GPA
B. Classification does not matter
C. Nominations
A. Will be at the beginning of each fall semester of each academic year
D. Filling Vacancies
A. New person will take the position of a board member if one drops or if someone is impeached
Article IV. Duties of Officers
A. President takes attendance and takes charge of meetings if the advisor is not there. Daily word assignments will be given to the members of the club from the president. President will let one of the board members if he/she will not be at the next meeting.
B. Vice President will take over the meeting if the president is not there. In charge of getting all of the new members’ emails. Along with the president, the vice president will send out emails of upcoming events and news.
C. Sectary will make note of everything that goes on in the meetings. Will also give an encouraging poem to all new members.
D. Treasurer will handle the money situation and royalties from events
Article V. Meetings
A. Will be held every Wednesday at 4 p.m. In Boyer Writing Center
B. Special meetings will be called in advance
Article VI. Process
A. Will be altered at the beginning of each semester if needed
